Odd Future Wolf Gang

I really cannot get enough of these guys. My friend is going to see them preform at the pitchfork music festival, I'm pretty jealous. I love Odd Future because for as young as they are they put out some of the most legitimate rap out there right now. Here's a couple of videos for you guys

I can't wait until may 10th for Tyler's sophmore album Goblin!

Time for a classic

I had a rough day at work yesterday and a lot of other B.S. that has left me in a really pissed off mood and I find that music can often sooth me and mellow me out. That's why I've been listening to this Big L basically on repeat for the last 48 hours. Many consider Big L to be the greatest MC of all time and I don't think they are far off from the truth. Here's a video for one of my favorite tracks off Big L's Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous:

Lil B Based God

The west coast rap scene right now is a very interesting things. With the help of the Internet many weird off beat rappers have gotten their names out through gorilla internet marketing. Lil B is perhaps the most well known of these and has crafted a completely unique asthetic for himself. Whether you love him or hate him you have to recognize the importance of what he has done. Here's a video for one of his popular songs Wonton Soup:

What do you guys think of the Based God?

Cannibal Ox

Here's a track from one of my favorite albums The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox. The Cold Vein came out in 2001 and unfortunately besides one Live album Cannibal Ox has yet to release a sophomore album. If you're a fan Doom, Madlib, Dangermouse, etc. I'm sure you'll like this track so check it out:
